It is funny to note that PB_3.55CFW_V2 and TrueBlue-3.55-CFW-v2 are the same file, just renamed.

I checked them both out with Custom Firmware Validator

They have the same game patches as TB dongle.

So it will be interesting to see if they come out with new stuff before TB or not. Or they are just duplicating. They are a bit cheaper at most places $50 and some $45

But it was still from a famous ps3 hacked team,whoes good reputation in the past maybe will attract more attention too .Anyway,i think,at present,it still need more tested before accepated.

I will be checking it out later this week. Yes its a known team at least that came out with it, but lets hope they have their own fixes as well, and not just copying TB releases. Time will tell.

Well I actually received it today, only two days later after ordering.

I am impressed enough with it. Works with TB CFWv2, and shows as TB 2.5 in system settings. Loads the PS3 faster I think, and works fine with all games.

Easy enough to update on the PC. There is a review here about it

The only flaw in that review is about the updating the dongle - PS3 Break 2 V1.01.pkg

There is no package file in that download. I did it on the pc. Another flaw is that the dpinst_ia64.exe doesn't work on x64 bit systems. It says are you sure you have the right OS detected or something similiar. I contacted the PS3 Break team about it, but no answer as yet.

So what I did was just plug the dongle into my pc, and Windows 7 x64 detected it anyway as the proper "STM Device in DFU Mode” in Device Manager.

I then proceeded to update with no issues.

My take is its cheaper than the TB dongle, and it works, so as long as the PS3 Break team can keep up with updates ect, all should be good.

Not too advertise, but if anyone is wanting to order more than 30pcs, they could get them for $24 a piece. I know a supplier.

The original ps3 break was a clone as is this, I wouldn't expect them to do anymore than any of the other True Blue clones (seeing as their site is just a clone of True Blue's) same crap different package
