i've update v3.1 trough the system recovery menu then format the hard drive. after format i can't enter the language configuration menu it keep restart and go to first blue screen page again over again (i've installed kmaew befor the 3.1 cfw). i'm on 2506b eu.

looking to try out your CFW but i have a question first. I'm using Kmeaws 3.55 and i'm not looking to downgrade anytime soon as i have a ps3 to play online with. what i do want is the ability to go onto the internet with my browser on my cfw system. My question is does the privacy patch allow that? I read that it blocks $ony servers but does it block all internet and if i install this right over my current fw and what managers work with this...?

It doesn't block internet access, you can still download games updates or go through the browser without any problem, also any homebrew / manager should be compatible too like any other CFW .

Thanks Rogero. I just downloaded my PS3 using a Teensy++ from 3.72 to your V2 CFW. It wasn't until after I downgraded that a realized I missed your v3.1 link. I went back and re-installed from FSM to your v3.1 and it also worked like a champ. Thank you for continuing to develop for the PS3.

I actually dont understand all that... I am new to PS3 system.. bought it yesterday.. only to realize that it has 3.65 FW.. Will it work on my System and allow me to play game backups??
