That being said, psp isos on the internal HDD shows ICON0 in mmCM retro column, but no icon if on the external HDD. Also, on the original MM, you could browse to a folder anywhere on your ps3 with pkg files and multiman would mount that folder to let you install the pkgs from the XMB without actually moving the files to USB root....this no longer works too

This has been fixed for the next release and will now show the icon for PSP ISO's on EXT but the other problem (mounting a folder with PKG files - it works... nothing is broken there) ;)

Hermes payload has nothing to do with BD-Mirror ,you still wouldn't get it to work.
Cobra uses PL3 and needs to include peek/poke into their FW before BD-Mirror will be able to work so about syscall8 - no, bdmirror doesn't require hermes..

I've asked a question which I pretty much answered myself, feel free to look at it and bring your input because I could be way off track :P

viewtopic.php?f=77&t=2514

If I'm right though, the File Manager can only deal with a max of 2048 files per folder and it causes the cover lookup process to fail when the psx (or any) folder contains more than that, which it does when you install the FULL installment of mmCM. It could be causing other issues, I don't really know.

Thanks for your concern and your support :)

mmCM freezes on me if I go to ReTro Column and I don't have a USB external drive attached.

I have had this issue for a few releases, but just really noticed it more when I was wanting to play off the Network

I have a CECH 2501A 160GB Slim

I have to power down holding the Power button, or sometimes unplug it from the back.

UPDATE: Latest update today 4.01.01 fixed my issues.

Re: mmCM Bug Reports HERE

So I started using the new cobra 5.0 network sharing features and so far I'm very happy but I have a few gripes so I thought I'd list them and possible solutions in order to improve the product.

Some of these problems may have to do with mmCM more than it does ps3netsrv.exe or Cobra so hopefully Dean & co can read this too.

Here's my setup, I created 10 nethosts and I have 10 folders that each contain a PS3ISO folder and ps3netsrv.exe. I have divided my games into genres such as RPG, Action, FPS, Puzzle etc. I have created .cmd in each folder to launch the server, and then have created shortcuts to those .cmds so I can have all my shortcuts in one folder where I may "start to share" any genre of game. I also did this so I wouldn't be always sharing one folder with 100s of games inside as this makes it waaay too long to scan.

All my games are in .ISO format

#1 Scanning games takes a very long time, every time. Ideally, instead of scanning every time it could simply read a static file that contains the dump from the previous scan. This would allow the game lists to be loaded almost instantly. And then when you have added new games to the folder and want to update the "cached listing" then you could be given the option to do this manually. This would really save a lot on scanning time.

#2 Network games are only available in the XMB mmCM view. If you go to any the other displays the network games disapear and refreshing from those displays does not have the same effect as refreshing from the XMB

#3 It would be nice to be able to flag certain shares as being PS3-only so mmCM does not auto-create all those other folders.

#4 Game icons/covers only seem to be downloaded when you load the game ISO once.. would be nice to run an auto-download for all games.

#5 When using mmCM's file manager, entering any of the network hosts causes ALL the folders to be scanned entirely. That means if I have a network host with 100s of games.. it takes for-e-ver to scan. Exiting the network host and going back in the very same session (like 10 seconds later) will cause the entire folders to be re-scanned AGAIN... please see #1 and implement some kind of caching. I suppose you could accomplish a lot just by comparing timestamps with dumped ones in a file in order to determine if anything has changed since last time you scanned.

Well that's it.. thank you for the great improvements otherwise! This is still very new I understand and I hope it gets a little better.

It may be a known problem, but I can't use PlayTV while I have booted in Cobra Mode/with Cobra USB in. It gets a bit annoying that I have to restart over and over the console, but mostly i'm concerned because it ruins the scheduled recordings which kind of makes useless to have PlayTV. The bad/dangerous thing is that if PlayTV schedule is programmed to record something it will hang forever even of you reboot unless you remove Cobra or wait till the scheduled recording time ends.

Hi every one and I have to say, I am really appreciated because of everything that Dear Deank has done about mulitiman dveleoping, but ufortunatly, multiman and True Blue are not fully compatible yet! because I have the same problem with psx games That cannot be run and played via multiman when you are running True blue Cfw v2 with the update 2.62. ofcourse , it was not working with the previous updates of true blue too. Dear Deank, Please please please //// Do sth about that !!! I used to play Harvest moon back to nature back up but I cannot now!!! We are waiting for a solution from your side. Show your power to us again and if you do not , you will be considered as a loser against True blue compatibility! thank you man/...

Not a bug report, but it's been real quite from the cobra front... Any news or updates? Be nice to see 3.56 playable games like TB.
