A member of PSX-Scene named Szalay found a way to gain access to the Dev Menu in Dead Island for the Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles. He has made screen shots to show what can be done with the dev menu and it appears it gives the user a lot more control over how they want to play the game. You will most likely need a PS3 on CFW or a RGH/JTAG 360 to use this, so if you dont have one of those this is just one more reason to get one.
